Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
The Community Care Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services. This includes a variety of responsibilities such as:
- Conducting assessments and reviews of individual care services.
- Providing practical supervision, guidance, and support to care staff.
- Collaborating with Care Coordinators to develop effective care worker schedules that align with the unique needs of clients.
- Performing regular evaluations of care services, including ongoing needs and risk assessments.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary reviews to assess service users' requirements.
- Mentoring new care staff in the field to ensure their proficiency.
- Observing and assessing care staff performance as part of routine supervision or as needed.
The Community Care Supervisor is expected to spend a significant portion of their time in the community, fulfilling their primary responsibilities, while also engaging in necessary administrative tasks.

Essential Skills
Candidates should possess experience in conducting initial risk and needs assessments for individual service users, whether in their homes or in other relevant settings. It is crucial to work collaboratively with service users, their families, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals to ensure the comprehensive delivery of personalized care packages.
