Land Acquisition Specialist

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, acquire, and manage land for wind, solar, and battery storage projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and planning requirements.
- Negotiate land agreements with landowners and local communities, fostering collaborative relationships and securing suitable sites.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop project land strategies, driving project success and growth.
- Oversee land agents and manage the reporting of land status, including commercial aspects, to ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Assist in community engagement strategy, working closely with the project development team to ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Coordinate with legal and development teams throughout the land acquisition process, ensuring seamless project progression.
- Work with project development teams to align land acquisition timelines and budgets with overall project objectives, driving project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, policies, and best practices related to land acquisition and renewable energy development, applying this knowledge to drive project success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in land acquisition and management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
