Land Acquisition Specialist

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, acquiring, and managing land for wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and Secure Land Agreements: Negotiate and secure land agreements, leases, and easements with landowners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with landowners throughout the development process.
- Land Acquisition and Management: Maintain accurate records of land agreements, contracts, and communications. Ensure all land requirements are consistent with planning requirements.
- Project Land Strategies: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop project land strategies.
- Land Agent Management: Manage land agents and oversee the reporting of land status, including commercial aspects.
- Community Engagement: Assist in community engagement strategy in conjunction with the project development team.
- Land Acquisition Process: Coordinate with legal and development teams throughout the land acquisition process.
- Project Timelines and Budgets: Work with project development teams to ensure land acquisition timelines and budgets align with overall project timelines and objectives.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and best practices related to land acquisition and renewable energy development.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting abilities.
- Solid understanding of land acquisition processes and renewable energy development in the UK.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
