Job Title: Associate Principal Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Principal Scientist to join our team at Evotec WD. As a key member of our Physical Chemistry team, you will be responsible for managing commercial and R&D projects, ensuring they are performed to a high standard and within scheduled time-frames.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide scientific guidance to team members to meet project goals and regularly present findings.
  2. Maintain awareness of team priorities to support effective planning of group resources for commercial and R&D deadlines.
  3. Provide expert scientific support for the wider company for Physical Chemistry studies.
  4. Keep up-to-date with scientific literature advances, developments, and regulatory guidelines in the area of Physical Chemistry and inform the team of relevant developments.
  5. Ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and in proper working order on completion of assigned tasks.
  6. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all activities as required by relevant SOPs and Quality policies.

Requirements:

  1. PhD in a relevant field with significant experience in Physical Chemistry.
  2. Excellent communication, organisational, and technical skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
