About the RoleThe Behaviour Mentor role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will provide guidance and support to help young people access education and develop their social and emotional skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support to young people in the classroom and beyond
- Help young people develop their social and emotional skills
- Work with young people to set and achieve goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support package
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people
- Relevant qualifications and training
