Part-time Care Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Part-time Care Assistant to join our team in Martham. As a Part-time Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to a child with complex needs, including assistance with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and social activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and general tidying up
- Prepare and cook meals
- Support with child activities, including swimming, trampolining, and care farm visits
- Drive the household car and push a wheelchair as needed
- Experience working with children
- UK clean driving license holder with car
- Reliability and flexibility
- Basic knowledge/experience in children with trauma, neurodiversity, or de-escalating challenging behaviour
- Enhanced DBS
- Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour
- Hours and times of work: to be determined
- Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks
- Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
- Satisfactory references from two referees
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
