Company Overview:
Our client, a prominent financial services firm in Sheffield, is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced paraplanner to enhance their financial advisory team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in pensions and retirement strategies, with a commitment to assisting clients in achieving a secure and fulfilling retirement lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth financial research and analysis utilizing tools such as Selectapension and FE Analytics.
2. Create detailed financial reports using Genovo report writing software.
3. Verify and validate information provided by administrative staff for accuracy and completeness.
4. Collaborate with the administrative team to collect any missing information and support business submissions as needed.
5. Employ the Intelliflo back office system for effective client management and record-keeping.
6. Analyze and recommend various investment options, including ISAs and general investment accounts.
7. Review adviser notes or recommendation proposals that may not meet suitability standards.
8. Engage with the compliance team regarding any concerns related to advice suitability.

Candidate Requirements:
Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years in a paraplanning or related role within the financial services sector.

Qualifications:
Relevant financial planning certifications (e.g., Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent) are preferred.

Skills:
1. Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.

Attention to Detail:
A high level of accuracy and meticulousness in all work-related tasks.

Team Collaboration:
A cooperative approach with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
