We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our Pan Asian kitchen team at Doubletree by Hilton London Kensington. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the production of food items by following instructions from the Head Chef.
  • Be knowledgeable of the day's business, including reservations, events, and menu specials.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and meet the approved standard of presentation.
  • Avoid unnecessary wastage and observe proper portion planning and control.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines and report any issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure the kitchen equipment is in working order and report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef.
  • Follow company control procedures under the company's Internal audit requirements.
  • Ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain.
Requirements
  • Background in Pan Asian cuisine with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous supervisory experience as a Sous Chef in a kitchen environment.
  • Professional cookery qualification.
  • Flexible working shifts.
  • Compliance with local laws on food handling.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
