CRE Marine, a subsidiary of Trexon, specializes in the design and production of robust all-metal shell connectors, fiber optic solutions, strain terminations, penetrators, and junction boxes. Our products are engineered for extreme durability and are utilized in some of the most challenging underwater environments, from the splash zone to full ocean depths.
Position Summary
The Expeditor role, reporting to the Operations Manager, encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services within our operations.
External Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor the status of purchase orders, collaborating with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of materials and services.
- Act as the main liaison between CRE Marine and our suppliers following the issuance of purchase orders.
- Identify and track delays in external orders, coordinating with the planning assistant to provide customers with accurate delivery updates.
- Prioritize active orders with suppliers as necessary to meet operational demands.
- Maintain comprehensive records of order statuses, delivery timelines, and supplier delays to generate performance reports.
- Utilize the SAGE 200 system to update delivery schedules for purchase orders.
Internal Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Sales-Admin team to ensure timely workflow provision to production.
- Analyze internal workflows to identify procurement gaps, collaborating with the purchasing team to address these issues.
- Work with the planning assistant to assess internal workflow and identify potential delays in customer orders, collaborating with the operations team to find solutions.
- Perform filing, data entry, and general administrative tasks as required.
- Generate purchase orders in alignment with production needs for consumables.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to achieve weekly output targets and meet customer expectations.
Additional Duties
Execute any other responsibilities assigned by management as needed.
Required Skills

- Proficient in computer applications, including Sage and Microsoft Office.
