Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team at Marc Daniels. As a key member of our external reporting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare statutory financial statements for group subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with Companies Act 2006 and relevant accounting standards (UK GAAP).
- Manage internal and external stakeholders for the year-end audit, including divisional finance teams and external auditors.
- Develop and maintain technical accounting papers to support complex technical judgments, including management papers for the year-end audit.
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards, ensuring reporting is IFRS compliant.
- Maintain the Group Accounting Manual, ensuring all accounting policies are appropriately reflected throughout the group's reporting.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and external audit.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
