About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Communications professional to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and executing a marketing strategy to build our profile and publicise our activities across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase our visibility and reach a wider audience.
  • Market our new regular giving platform to attract new supporters.
  • Write engaging press releases and newsletter content to promote our activities and build relationships with local press.
  • Create and publish compelling stories and events for social media content to engage our audience.
  • Market our charity events and achievements to raise awareness and attract new supporters.
  • Update and maintain our charity website to ensure it is engaging and informative.
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance at events to support our team.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in marketing with excellent communication skills and a flair for writing compelling content.
  • Good use of design software, including Word Press, Photoshop, Adobe software, and Canva.
  • Ideal candidate will have charity sector experience, marketing qualification, SEO experience, and/or skill/interest in photography.
