Lead a Team of Support Workers and Inspire Excellence in Care

Lifeways Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of support workers, ensuring that excellent person-centred care and support is delivered to individuals supported by Lifeways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Recruit, train, and develop support workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent care
  • Conduct staff supervisions and performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations
  • Communicate effectively with staff, individuals supported, and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a care or support setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of support workers
  • Knowledge of person-centred care principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
