Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Structural Integrity Engineer.


Compensation:
£50,000 - £70,000 + Pension + Hybrid Working Options

Our client is a prominent operator in the COMAH sector, managing several essential energy facilities across the UK. They are currently engaged in various innovative projects, including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), Hydrogen initiatives, and alternative energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support project proposals and bids by providing initial design concepts, estimating steel weight, and calculating engineering time requirements.
  2. Develop structural steelwork designs and conduct analyses to ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and regulations.
  3. Ensure that all structural designs align with the defined project scope, timeline, and budgetary constraints.
  4. Coordinate and assess third-party design contributions, including the preparation of purchase requisitions, specifications, and conducting design reviews.
  5. Provide detailed foundation load calculations and connection designs for further detailing.

Qualifications:
A Higher National Diploma (HND) or degree in engineering is required. Proficiency in licensed design software, such as Tekla Designer and S-Frame, is essential.
