Senior Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our operations team to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing facility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to team managers to ensure consistency in the administration of company policies and standards;
  • Working with management peer group to implement best practices, supporting consistency in approach including performance delivery, initiatives, and any business change requirements;
  • Working closely with operational support functions to effectively implement and support processes and policies including supply chain, purchasing, planning, despatch, HR, training, and process;
  • Communicating across all functions to provide feedback and updates on site performance to various stakeholders within the wider company as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Operations leadership experience within a factory manufacturing environment with at least 5 years proven history;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business studies;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
