We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development and Communications Director to join our team at the Coalition Against Hunger. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission to end hunger in the Philadelphia region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an Annual Fundraising and Communications Plan and budget to support organizational and strategic goals.
- Staff the Board's Development Committee and work closely with the Operations Manager and Controller to ensure revenue is tracked and recorded correctly.
- Manage special projects as requested and provide leadership for fundraising events such as the Race Against Hunger and the Night To Fight Hunger.
- Communicate grant expectations and financial restrictions to program team members and the Executive Director for tracking purposes.
- Oversee the Communications Coordinator in their work to raise the visibility of the organization and publicize our fundraising efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
- Experience developing and implementing a development plan and team-oriented with a creative approach to fundraising.
- Knowledge of the greater Philadelphia region and its philanthropic community, as well as CRM experience and QuickBooks online experience.
