Housing Operations Director

We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association in the North of England, who are recruiting for a Housing Operations Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of circa £44,000 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee day-to-day housing operations and service delivery, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of housing officers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective service provision and maximizing resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement policies that enhance resident satisfaction, driving business growth and reputation.
  • Foster strong relationships with tenants, stakeholders, and local authorities, promoting effective communication and partnership.

  • Proven experience in a housing management role, with a track record of success in a similar position.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for improving housing services, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in housing, with a commitment to compliance and due diligence.

  • Risk assessment and management, with a focus on mitigating potential risks and ensuring business continuity.
  • Financial management and budgeting, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
