About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Assistant to join our team at Majestic Wine Horsham. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the store team in achieving sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Maximise sales opportunities and drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our wine range to provide expert advice to customers
  • Take ownership of store appearance and maintenance, ensuring a high standard of presentation at all times
  • Contribute to operational tasks, including wine delivery, stock merchandising, and customer communication
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to optimise store operations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and mandatory training
Requirements
  • Excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Wine knowledge is beneficial, but passion to learn is essential
  • Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
