About the Role:

Airedale by Modine is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Scotland. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Airedale and other manufacturers' refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to a high standard of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all repair and maintenance work to Airedale and other manufacturers' refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to a high standard of accuracy.
  • Report day-to-day activity to the Service Team Leader to ensure availability and productivity.
  • Liaison with other Service Support Engineers to ensure works are completed on time.
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures at Airedale and at customer sites.
  • Able to work outside of normal office hours on a regular basis, including weekends.

Requirements:

  • Chillers – experience of service, maintenance, and repair of chillers and chiller systems.
  • Close Controls system – Ability to work through controls systems for diagnosis of faults, service, and repairs.
  • Strong electrical experience with the ability to read detailed electrical schematics to diagnose faults accurately.
  • Strong mechanical experience – water/fridge systems.
  • Good communication and report writing skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Computer literate with general skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service/facing skills.
  • Health and safety training for Skills Card (would be an advantage).
  • CSCS – Skills card (would be an advantage).
  • IPAF/PASMA (would be an advantage).
