Brand Awareness Strategist

As a Brand Awareness Strategist at Attractions, your objective is to enhance brand visibility and cultivate inbound pipeline generation within our targeted demographics and ideal customer profiles. You will take charge of crafting and implementing content-focused brand awareness initiatives that encompass owned media (blog, social, and website), thought leadership, public relations, and virtual events. This position requires a combination of strategic foresight, a readiness to innovate, hands-on content execution, and analytical skills to achieve success.
Your performance will be evaluated based on key performance indicators centered around brand visibility and inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), so you should be comfortable managing and reporting on these metrics. You will continuously adapt and refine your awareness initiatives in response to market dynamics, organizational objectives, and consumer purchasing behaviors.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in developing and executing educational content strategies that bolster market presence. They will have over 6 years of prior experience in content creation or demand generation and will approach the role with journalistic precision, generating unique, authentic insights that inform our ideal customer profile.
It is essential that you are action-oriented, highly organized, open to experimentation, and deeply inquisitive. In essence, you thrive in a results-driven and proactive environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop a compelling brand visibility strategy that aligns with our messaging framework to engage ideal customer profiles at the initial stages of the purchasing journey.
- Oversee content planning, design, and production across various formats, including research reports, webinars, and customer success narratives.
- Adopt a journalistic approach and collaborate with subject matter experts, external partners, and stakeholders to create rich insights that support your campaigns and provide our target personas with a distinctive perspective.
- Manage content and demand generation metrics. Your focus will be on engaging our ideal customer profiles and guiding them into our marketing pipeline, as well as metrics that influence entry.
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams. You will regularly engage with sales, marketing, and customer success teams and should be confident in collaborating on cross-functional projects and with freelancers/agencies.
- Analyze and optimize your strategy.
- Lead a foundational content team. You will work closely with our content specialist to enhance their marketing fundamentals and writing skills.
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- 6+ years of experience in B2B demand generation and/or content marketing, with a proven track record of enhancing brand visibility, increasing inbound MQLs, and the confidence to manage your KPIs.
- A recognized qualification in marketing, journalism, English, communications, or a related field.
- A passion for writing. You will be crafting research reports, video scripts, webinar content, and more, so proficiency in your writing skills and the ability to embody our tone of voice is essential.
- Experience in measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of content campaigns and making strategic recommendations for enhancements based on data analysis and industry trends.
- Editing and proofreading skills to ensure all content is accurate, clear, and consistent with the company's tone and style guidelines.
- Experience leading teams on projects, including the ability to delegate tasks, manage external resources, provide support, and ensure that all team members are aligned with the same objectives.
- A curiosity for technology: you are open to exploring how new technologies, such as AI, can enhance and optimize your work.
- A portfolio of previous work ready for submission at the interview.
