Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Klöckner Pentaplast. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Risk Assessments (RA's), Non-Moving Reports (NMR's), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Communication: Provide detailed shift reports to departmental heads, highlighting breakdowns and necessary improvements for enhanced coordination and efficiency.
  • Spare Parts Management: Review and maintain an adequate stock of spare parts to ensure continuous availability of production machines and services.
  • Development and Training: Participate in training programs for self-development and assist in training production team members on the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.
  • Support: Demonstrate flexibility by providing support as needed to ensure 24/7 maintenance coverage, including overtime and shift swaps.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO/BRC.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in the company's Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in a similar environment. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
