About the Role:

The Technical Support Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer support team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage a team of 10 technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are performing effectively and efficiently.
  • Customer Support: Oversee the provision of technical support to our customers, ensuring that their queries are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and recommend improvements to our support processes, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to our technical support staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our service.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a managerial role, with a proven track record of success in customer-facing environments.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Education: Degree-level education in a relevant field, such as electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience of using ticketing systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-disciplined, with good planning and organizational skills, and a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

What We Offer:

Terry Parris Associates Ltd offers a competitive salary package, including a contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance, and a minimum of 23 days holiday per annum. We also offer a long service scheme, with holiday increasing to a maximum of 28 days per annum.
