Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Lewes. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, configuring equipment, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients via email, phone, and Teams
  • Configure equipment for installation, prepare customer media using bespoke software, and support other departments internally
  • Attend customer sites around the UK for installations, repairs, surveys, etc.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, involved in various aspects of a project
  • Install equipment onto vehicles, configure DHCP servers, create media templates for customers, assist with repairs and production
  • Train on company software and equipment

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with all staff in a courteous and clear manner
  • Comfortable using Windows-based machines
  • Familiar with networking protocols and serial protocols
  • Organized and methodical approach to tasks
  • Ability to use own initiative and self-manage/prioritize workload
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Tidy and organized work place, tools and equipment supplied are looked after and used responsibly
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to work as a team or alone with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving
  • Self-disciplined, good planning and organizational skills
  • Experience with carrying out repairs on electrical and electronic equipment
  • Full UK driving license or equivalent
  • Valid passport and ability to travel globally as required
  • Computer literate with good understanding of Microsoft Office packages and Windows OS
  • Excellent standards of verbal and written communication
