Job Title: Internal Sales Engineer Photonics

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Internal Sales Engineer Photonics to join our team at Macstaff. As an Internal Sales Engineer Photonics, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our photonics business, working closely with our Sales Manager and Field Sales team to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer orders and contracts to ensure prices and lead-times are reviewed and renewed in a timely fashion.
  • Work with Field Sales team to proactively manage customer orders and contracts to ensure prices and lead-times are reviewed and renewed in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Work with Field Sales team to establish and meet/exceed customers KPI's.
  • Manage post-sale issues, such as queries, complaints, RMAs, and repairs.
  • Work with Field Sales team to promote sister companies and exclusive and strategic suppliers to customers.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication routes with customers.
Requirements:
  • Physics degree.
  • Knowledge of photonics.
  • Understanding of target markets.
  • Enthusiastic, experienced, and successful salesperson with experience of working in a B2B sales environment.
  • Proven customer relationship management experience.
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Experience of MS Office and in-house systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data input accuracy.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships.
  • Strong emphasis on attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
