Childcare Support Specialist

Position: Childcare Support Specialist - Casual Contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a supportive atmosphere while interacting with children of varying ages and developmental stages, encouraging them to reach their full potential through engaging play and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with children, colleagues, and families; facilitate enriching indoor and outdoor activities; document daily observations for the children in your care; and plan their next developmental milestones in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures established by the organization.
- Participate in training sessions for both personal growth and the advancement of the organization.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children.
- Embrace the diversity of daily activities, using creativity to keep children engaged and support their emotional well-being as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 2/3 childcare qualification or relevant experience is preferred.
- A dedication to delivering high-quality childcare, including physical care and hygiene practices for children aged 4 months to 5 years.
- Understanding of the developmental requirements of children, statutory frameworks, and relevant legislation.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols.
- Awareness and understanding of safeguarding best practices.
- Paediatric First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain it.
