This is a self-employed opportunity to provide high-quality childcare services in a home-based setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a flexible and responsive childcare service that meets the needs of parents and children
  • Comply with Ofsted registration requirements and complete background checks

Requirements
  • Hold a suitable Paediatric First Aid certificate

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Support and Training

As a childminder with the Isle of Wight Council, you will have access to local authority support and training to help you develop your skills and knowledge. This includes:

  • Food hygiene training
