About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Audio Operations Manager to join our team at 696 DSC Corporate Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our busy in-house audio broadcast facility, ensuring that our services are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of audio professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the audio facility, including the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve audio workflows and processes, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that audio requirements are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage and develop the skills of the audio team, providing training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, ensuring that the audio facility is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and colleagues, to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in audio within a broadcast studio or facility environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Proven track record of managing large, successful teams and delivering to the highest standards.
  • Experience with Riedel intercom systems, IP codec units, RF microphones, and IEM equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience in support and configuration of Lawo audio consoles.
  • Proactive approach to trouble-shooting, problem-solving, and avoidance of issues.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a challenging, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the audio team at a high level in meetings.
