Job Title: Sound, Video and Broadcast Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Royal Opera House is seeking an experienced and confident manager to lead the department's dynamic team, ensuring the operational and production requirements of rehearsals and performances are carried out to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical professionals to deliver high-quality sound and video services for live performances and broadcasts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless delivery of technical services.
  • Manage and maintain technical equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sound and video management with experience of leading teams.
  • Excellent technical skills with a thorough understanding of current equipment and systems.
  • Experience of working to the highest artistic and technical standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable understanding of health and safety requirements and experience of risk management and documentation.
