The Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our multidisciplinary engineering and technical projects within our Materials Business Unit as part of our fusion research program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems using initiative.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to gather information and share ideas.
  • Contributing to long- and short-term projects.
  • Creating technical documentation.
  • Performing installation activities.
  • Designing, installing, and testing pressure systems.
Compensation

£33,000 (inclusive of benefits) + excellent benefits including a competitive pension.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience.

Parts of the role may require work in controlled areas or in areas with specific safety protocols (full training and medical assessments will be provided if necessary).
