Building Services Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Manager to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a key member of our regional contractor, you will be responsible for managing the building services element from construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Review and Design Verification: Review tender information, determine the scope and extent of remaining design work, and verify compliance, coordination, affordability, and buildability.
  • Design Strategy and Team Management: Determine the strategy for completing remaining design work, assess and audit novated design team members, and negotiate additional services as needed.
  • Design Development and Submission: Develop competitive, technically robust design and engineering solutions, engage with specialist subcontractors, and manage the submission and approval of reviewable design data.
  • Quality Benchmarking and Installation: Establish quality benchmarks, review regularly, and undertake final acceptance, as well as manage the installation of utilities.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: High level of technical expertise in MEP services, including process engineering, with experience covering design, construction, and commissioning stages of complex projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Competent in the use of 4Projects or similar Common Data Environment, as well as knowledge of software including AutoCAD and BIM.
  • Education and Certification: HNC or above in a Building Services or construction-related field, with a full UK driving license.
