Senior Building Surveyor

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team in a housing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Property Condition Surveyors, delivering surveys and collecting data related to property condition and energy.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead a team of Property Condition Surveyors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality surveys and data collection
* Manage and set objectives for the team, driving performance and productivity
* Identify and effectively manage day-to-day risks, ensuring the smooth operation of the team
* Administer budgets, ensuring effective financial management
* Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge

**Requirements:**

* Excellent knowledge and understanding of Building Surveying, with a strong focus on property condition and energy
* Hold qualifications in property surveying, such as RICS, CIOB, or CABE, or be willing to work towards professional qualification
* Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM, and its application in the construction industry
* Be willing to undertake professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest surveying trends and best practices
* Have experience of line management or coaching, with a proven track record of success
