Job Summary
FAFS Fire & Security is seeking a highly skilled Fire Systems Service Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Systems Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems in and around Greater London.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and in compliance with current regulations.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure best practice and cost-effective solutions.
- Complete and return all company documentation and certification to comply with ISO 9001 systems and procedures.
- Work as a team with colleagues and the Service Manager to enhance the company's reputation in quality and customer service.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For
FAFS Fire & Security is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of BS5839 Part 1 and be able to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms. They will also have basic electrical safety training (ECA) and manufacturer's training in all other equipment required.
