About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join our team at Lockyer's Middle School. As a key member of our learning-focused team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students.

The successful candidate will have high expectations of children's learning and behaviour, and will be able to inspire and engage students across the curriculum. You will be a positive, flexible, and nurturing individual who can build and maintain good relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and adapt to the needs of our students. You will work closely with teachers to provide support in-class and small group support to students across the school from Year 5 to Year 8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in their learning and behaviour, using your initiative to personalise and adapt where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to provide high-quality support to students across the curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Be willing to undertake additional training to meet the needs of our students.
  • Be reflective and committed to professional development.
