About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join a local school in Wimborne. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans.
  • Support the overall well-being of students and contribute to a positive school ethos.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.
