Role Overview:The Head of Communications Strategy is a pivotal leadership position tasked with the formulation and implementation of comprehensive marketing, recruitment, and communication strategies aimed at elevating the visibility, reputation, and engagement of our learners and employers throughout the South East.
Reporting directly to the Associate Principal for Employers & Stakeholders, you will oversee a diverse and multi-site team of specialists, including brand & design, outreach, recruitment and campaign marketing, customer experience, and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Group Leadership and College Management team to enhance student enrollment and market presence across all educational offerings.
- Provide strategic direction for the planning, development, and execution of ambitious marketing, recruitment, and communication strategies across various platforms.
- Ensure the delivery of clear, consistent, and reliable market intelligence and sector insights to inform strategic and operational decision-making, portfolio development, and innovation.
- Utilize modern digital platforms and technologies to foster a 'customer-first approach' in managing inquiries and applications, ensuring a high-quality customer journey.
- Manage resources in accordance with the Group's Financial Regulations and Human Resources policies.
- A degree or equivalent experience in marketing or communications.
- Extensive experience in leading a large and complex marketing and communications team, collaborating effectively with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
- Proven track record in developing marketing strategies with evidence of innovative approaches and successful change management.
- Strong understanding of websites, digital, and social media as integral components of the marketing mix.
- Exceptional English language and communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations, along with strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
