About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Aggreko. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in the Data Center sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Present new products and services to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct market analysis and submit reports on competitor activity, market trends, and potential opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure orders.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Process driven, following Aggreko's sales process and CRM and CPQ processes.
  • Monitor and analyze key account-related legislations and potential impacts.
  • Study and propose fleet and services developments to answer customer and legislative needs.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in driving growth objectives in the Data Center sector, preferably with experience in sales and/or business development.
  • Local market knowledge and understanding of local regulatory policies.
  • Graduate of an engineering degree (or equivalent in a relevant field) from a reputable university, preferably in electrical/mechanical.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts in Malaysia.
  • Commercially astute technical sales professional with significant experience.
  • Target driven and results-oriented, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales and activity KPI targets.
  • Able to deal with complexity, creative thinker.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Driven by success, high commitment.
