Position Overview:

Community Hospice & Palliative Care is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse to enhance our team. The successful candidate will bring nursing expertise from various healthcare environments, including medical-surgical, oncology, or home health. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and responding to incoming calls across all service lines
  • Evaluating patient requirements and delivering effective symptom management
  • Working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to develop treatment strategies
  • Educating patients on disease progression and providing guidance on end-of-life care
  • Offering compassionate emotional support to both patients and their caregivers
  • Conducting follow-up and collaborative communication as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Florida
  • Current Florida driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Completion of AHCA Level II Background Screening

Candidate Profile:

The ideal applicant will hold a degree in Nursing and possess at least two years of relevant experience. Essential skills include the ability to multitask, critical thinking, teamwork, and proficient communication.
