Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing capital accounting policies, ensuring compliance with the Trust's Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions. This will involve working closely with the Deputy Head of Financial Services to deliver monthly accounting and reporting for the Trust's charity, as well as managing the Trust's Fixed Asset portfolio and capital programme.

Key Duties
  • Interpret and advise on complex accounting policies and practices
  • Contribute to the completion of monthly Provider Finance Returns (PFRs) to NHSEI and internal Board and Committee reporting
  • Manage the Trust's Charity to ensure obligations can be met
  • Support Trust senior managers and finance colleagues with business cases and technical expertise
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a CCAB registration or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
