About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new role working across our archival, museum and rare printed collections. As a Collections Officer, you will play an integral part in delivering the aims of our Research England, Museums, Galleries and Collections funding, which recognizes the important contribution that our collections make to research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with academics, students, and the public to increase their awareness and usage of the collections held by Manuscripts and Special Collections, including the University of Nottingham Museum.
  • Establish effective partnerships and ways of working to ensure that collections are embedded in research projects.
  • Deliver teaching for students, including students from other universities, and to adult learners.
  • Divide your time between our University Park campus, where the University of Nottingham Museum is located, and our King's Meadow campus, home to Manuscripts and Special Collections.
  • Some home working will also be possible.
