About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Content Creator to join our team at Dorset Police. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality multimedia content that showcases the work of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Produce engaging video, audio, and visual content for public and internal use.
  • Travel across the region to capture dynamic footage of policing activities and community events.
  • Collaborate with our communications team to develop and implement social media campaigns that engage our communities and tell the stories behind our work.
  • Use industry-standard tools and equipment to capture high-quality multimedia content.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in media, film production, photography, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in video production, photography, and social media content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and how to use them to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with digital design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience using a wide variety of filming equipment.
