We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to enhance our operations in Europe. This role involves managing and expanding our sales with both new and existing clients (including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, CROs, academic institutions, and channel partners) through telecommunication and digital channels within the designated territory. The primary responsibilities include lead generation, qualification, opportunity development, and closing sales to achieve the annual sales objectives for the territory by adhering to our established processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting monthly and annual sales targets through effective telesales strategies.
  • Providing regular updates on the sales pipeline through funnel reviews, forecasts, and marketing assessments.
  • Developing and maintaining a strategic sales territory plan.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and closing sales for the Molecular Devices product range (including Single-Mode Absorbance Plate readers and Axon Instruments).
  • Building and nurturing revenue streams through existing and new channel partners.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and training sessions to both new and existing clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in the prospect database (SFDC) and monitoring sales performance.
  • Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure exceptional customer support from initial engagement through to post-sales service.
  • Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge regarding Molecular Devices products.
  • Monitoring competitor activities, products, and potential innovations.
  • Contributing to the effectiveness of Molecular Devices' marketing initiatives.
  • Participating in trade shows, seminars, and workshops to enhance sales skills and maintain customer relationships.
  • Performing additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Engaging in the strategic use of DBS tools.

Essential qualifications for this role include:

  • A degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced Inside Sales or Telemarketing position within the Life Sciences sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-motivated, organized, and confident approach, with a strong team-oriented mindset.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Fluency in French—ability to speak, read, and write in French is highly desirable. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Experience with SalesForce.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Power BI and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in an international context, managing global accounts across Europe and the US.
