We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Housing division. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of our painting contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, while controlling costs and profit for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and prepare cost estimates for contracts and tenders, highlighting any risks
  • Manage the pricing of tenders to maximise business wins and profitability
  • Prepare cost value reconciliations for contracts, identifying commercial risks and opportunities to ensure correct contract planning
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure productivity targets are agreed and issued before contract start, including direct labour incentives and sub-contractor management
  • Build strong client relations, to ensure any variations and progress of contracts are discussed
Requirements
  • You may be an experienced Quantity Surveyor, or Assistant Surveyor, looking for your next chapter in your career
  • The ability to demonstrate ownership of contracts, including estimating/ tendering, cost control, CVR management through to final accounts
