About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visiting Officer to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a Visiting Officer, you will play a critical role in providing a comprehensive visiting service to our clients, conducting property inspections, verifying residency, and supporting vulnerable customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property inspections and verify residency across the borough.
  • Provide support to vulnerable or housebound customers with no advocacy or family assistance.
  • Respond to income-related queries and assist with council reductions and reliefs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of visits and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the Assessment Hub team and external agencies to resolve customer enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an income collection, financial assessment, or debt-related environment.
  • Proven track record in providing visiting services, including property inspections and residency checks.
  • Experience handling customer enquiries and delivering high-quality services, especially to vulnerable clients.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £17+ph.
  • Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension.
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
