Look Ahead Care Support and Housing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enhanced Support Worker to join our Mental Health service in Westminster.

Your Role:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' needs and potential risks, developing personalized support plans to empower them towards greater independence.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure they can manage their tenancies effectively and access essential resources within the community.
  • Build strong relationships with key agencies and service providers in the local mental health system to facilitate comprehensive care for our customers.
  • Lead specialized initiatives, such as health and wellbeing programs, fostering partnerships and creating opportunities for service users.
  • Provide administrative support, maintaining accurate and detailed customer records while ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Housing Management team to ensure timely rent payments and effective account management.

Shift Pattern:

This role operates on a 7-day shift rota, encompassing both early shifts (8am-4pm) and late shifts (2:30pm-10:30pm).

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience in the social care or charity sector.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working within a mental health setting.
