Transport Administrator Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage the group trailer pool allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.

* Process sub-contractor invoices in a timely manner, adhering to company cut-off dates to maintain smooth operations.

* Run internal invoices through the Transportation Management System (TMS) on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Collaborate closely with the planning team and operations to guarantee data input is precise and up-to-date.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for the UK domestic customer database, handling bookings, answering queries, and providing support.

* Invoicing UK customer bookings once the job is completed, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

* Provide quotes to customers via phone and email, offering competitive pricing and excellent customer service.

* Offer holiday cover for the planning assistant as needed, ensuring seamless operations.

**Requirements:**

* 2 years of experience working in a transport environment, with a strong understanding of logistics and operations.
