Job Description

Pertemps Leeds Commercial is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Scheduling: Collaborate with the Transport team to plan and coordinate transportation schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines.
  • Customer Liaison: Communicate effectively with customer service teams and drivers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Proof of Delivery Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with proof of delivery requirements.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Work efficiently within time constraints to meet productivity targets.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including answering incoming calls, maintaining transport documentation records, and filing.
Essential Criteria:
  • Customer Service: Possess strong professional communication skills to deal with customers.
  • Transport Industry Knowledge: Demonstrate a driven and interested approach to the transport industry.
  • Administrative Experience: Hold a good level of education or equivalent experience in an administration role, with proficiency in Microsoft packages and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Organizational Skills: Exhibit good organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
