Salary: £24,222 per annum

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Short Breaks Officer to join our team at 21HSC LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of the Carers Gateway Short Break programme, including the management of funding and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the Carers Gateway Short Break programme, including the management of funding and resources.
  • Raise the profile of short breaks, particularly within hard-to-reach groups of carers, and expand the understanding of what is considered a short break.
  • Oversee the digital application process and assist carers with their application as required.
  • Lead the assessment panel, plan meeting dates, and ensure all panel members have access to information prior to meeting.
  • Ensure funds are dispersed to carers in a timely manner, while ensuring all internal processes are followed.
  • Manage the Short Breaks budget, ensuring carers return receipts to maintain an accurate audit trail.
  • Work with the Admin & Evaluation Officer to collate data from the short breaks programme to support future planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education to standard grade General Level or equivalent in a minimum of four subjects, one of which should be English.
  • Experience in overseeing a large project is essential.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Experience of managing a budget is desirable.
  • Driving Licence is desirable.
