Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our client's growing finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of Group consolidated accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of Group consolidated accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Lead monthly balance sheet reconciliations and associated schedules.
  • Revenue Reconciliations: Conduct monthly revenue reconciliations between ERP and non-integrated systems.
  • Intercompany Balances: Review and reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring agreements and eliminations are handled efficiently.
  • Management Reports: Manage the preparation of Group and European monthly management reports, providing variance analysis and insightful commentary on financial performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teams overseas to meet month-end and year-end financial deadlines.
  • Financial Presentations: Present financial performance and insights to senior management during monthly performance review meetings.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budget setting and forecasting cycles, working collaboratively with finance colleagues.
  • Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth year-end processes.
  • ERP Implementation: Play a vital role in the implementation of a new ERP system.
