Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our client's growing finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of Group consolidated accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of Group consolidated accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
  • Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and associated schedules.
  • Conduct monthly revenue reconciliations between ERP and non-integrated systems.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring efficient agreements and eliminations.
  • Prepare Group and European monthly management reports, providing variance analysis and insightful commentary on financial performance.
  • Collaborate closely with international teams to meet month-end and year-end financial deadlines.
  • Present financial performance and insights to senior management during monthly performance review meetings.
  • Support the budget setting and forecasting cycles, working collaboratively with finance colleagues.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth year-end processes.
  • Play a vital role in the implementation of a new ERP system.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant.
  • Strong technical expertise, particularly in consolidated and statutory reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets.
  • Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive and accountable, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
