Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lead Technician to become part of our Valves Workshop at our main facility. This is a full-time onshore role, reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor. The position offers a competitive salary along with overtime compensation for hours exceeding 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inspection, repair, installation, maintenance, testing, and re-certification of a wide range of valves and actuators, including Safety and Pressure relief valves, Manual & Actuated isolation valves, system control valves (Flow Globe & Choke), Gate, globe, ball, check, non-return, and main stop valves.
  • Overseeing the preservation, maintenance, and re-certification of valves and spare parts.
  • Executing onshore valve repair tasks.
  • Preparing containerized workshop facilities for both onshore and offshore field services.
  • Performing high-pressure hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, along with function testing of equipment.
  • Ensuring certification aligns with specified industry and customer standards.
  • Maintaining up-to-date calibration of gauges and instruments.
  • Managing in-house valve and part inventory control.
  • Conducting quality control inspections for all incoming and outgoing goods.

Your Profile:

To excel in this role, you should possess an apprenticeship or equivalent experience/formal qualification in this domain. A solid background in the repair and maintenance of various valve types and sizes is essential. You will collaborate with workshop team members and other departments, ensuring adherence to company standards and alignment with organizational objectives.
