We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Meeting and Events Host at Resorts World Birmingham. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of meetings and events, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our chefs and other team members to deliver a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet guests on arrival, ensuring that timings are correct and function sheets are up-to-date
  • Ensure meeting and event rooms are clean and set up correctly, with all necessary AV equipment in place
  • Liaise with chefs to ensure menus are tailored to meet the needs of our guests, and that all dietary requirements are met
  • Deliver food and beverages to meetings and events, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available in the room
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support teams to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably in a meeting and events role
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude towards working hours
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
